Presentation

The property of La Dournie has been in the Etienne family since six generations and is situated 30 km north-west of Béziers, on the terroir of Saint Chinian (one of the oldest vineyards in France) in the South of France.

Acquired in 1870 by the Etienne family, the estate has been handed down from mother to daughter for six generations
The field has evolved, and has a powerful production tool for producing quality wines and preserve its heritage.

Men and women of the estate worked to make progressing the exploitation, the 30 year-old vines have been replant but there are still some 50 year-old grenache. The buildings are all renovated, the cave is equipe with all necessary technolology to elaborate quality wines...

We work with geological diversity to give our vintages a personality which is expressed by nuances of soil and delicate aromas. We take great care in the cellar to make wine as naturally as possible.
